Weekend 1 – 4/5th August

First trailer full of ‘stuff” delivered.

We had to park a fair way from the house, so that lead to job 1 – Demolition of the add on wood store.

Almost complete – still a pile of wood to sort and move next week.

And job 2 – adventuring into the orchard. By judicial pruning I was able to get along one side fairly safely. The apple boughs have all joined under the weight of the fruit, making getting between them quite difficult. But I made it, and even found the goose house.

I survived!

And we did even manage our first meal in the new house!
