2019 – December

After final fitting and plumbing the new bathroom is finally complete and open for business!

Which meant a bit of redecorating, box unpacking, furniture assembly etc. etc. and then we could have the front room and office back.

Getting it finished by mid month was fortunate, as we had lot of guests over the holiday period, so we were able to go and pick up a Christmas tree and Cyder from Skidbrooke (Barter for apples 🙂 ) , and generally get the place looking festive

On the wildlife front, plenty of foxes about, one old one even tidying up the bird’s food a few feet from the door. And I finally managed to capture a deer picture

Christmas then took over, and I stopped remembering to take pictures. Here are a few from other people. There will be even fewer pics next month as on boxing day I accidentally sent my camera phone swimming, which unsurprisingly it didn’t like…

And sadly at the end of the year we had to say goodbye to Badger , at eighteen and a half he’d had a good long life for a cat, and certainly enjoyed his time here, especially when the fire was on.
